Gal Gadot As Wonder Woman In Batman Vs. Superman And Possibly Standalone Film

Once again a role the Lynda Carter made a television icon is going to sport a new actress as Wonder Woman. Warner Brothers has signed Gal Gadot, to play Wonder Woman in Batman vs. Superman (2016) and Man of Steel Superman 2. The thinking is that these debuts films will might open to door to a standalone film for Wonder Woman as well as a Justice League movie. Warner Brothers will be looking to see how the fan base is for the iconic DC Comics character is received.

As fans will remember actress Adrianne Palicki attempted to fill the Wonder Woman role wearing a new costume designed, blue slacks with gold stars running along the sides instead of classic shorts. Her boots are red with gold trim instead of the customary white trim. To further
the update of the character, there was the use of brutal force to get the truth instead of using the legendary golden ‘Lasso of Truth’. However, such step away from the characteristic in methods battle should not be a deterrent for Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman as Superman in Man of Steel stepped out of his safely zone  by killing General Zod to protect innocence people. Nevertheless and although, fans were not privy to the pilot screening, coupled with the high rejection over the costume new design, the TV movie never left the preview room.
Given this lack of success, it is understandable that Warner Brother will debut their new Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious), in Batman vs. and in the Man of Steel Superman (staring  Ben Affleck as Batman, and Henry Cavill as Superman) sequel first.
The major idea, to start up a Justice League’s franchise. Although the deal for the Wonder Woman standalone films is not set in concrete, it is nice idea. -- Evelyn F. Altheimer-Fain
