Preacher is a live
action comic based series made for AMC Network. The supernatural comic is the creation of Garth
Ennis, who is also the author of Punisher.
Jesse Custer is the main character, and he is a religiously
conflicted preacher living in a small Texas town. It is inhabited by a
mysterious entity that allows him supernatural powers that appear to have divine
origins. Together with his ex-girlfriend, Tulip, and an Irish vampire named
Cassidy, Jesse embarks on a journey to find God. Preacher is scheduled to debut on AMC in mid-2016.
