Looking to fill the hole that the hit CW
series "Supernatural" left behind when the series ended after a 15-year
run? Well, perhaps, "Dead Boy Detectives" will do the job
.
It
was announced earlier today that HBO/Max has officially green-lighted Neil
Gaiman DC Comic "Dead Boy Detectives" for a live-action series.
The "Dead Boy Detectives" follows dead teenagers
Edwin Payne and Charles Rowland, who opt out of entering the afterlife for a
chance to investigate supernatural crimes on earth. In addition, their very
much alive friend, Crystal Palace joins them as the series explores the meanings
of “loss, grief, and death” for the two dead detectives. As with the series "Supernatural",
"Dead
Boy Detectives" will follow the darker vain of ghost hunting.
George Rexstrew plays Edwin Payne, Jayden Revri plays Charles
Rowland, and Kassius Nelson plays
Crystal Palace.
On the flipside, Marvel has an upcoming new movie, which is “Kraven
the Hunter”. Kraven is known in the Marvelverse as Marvel’s most iconic
and notorious antiheroes and as the number one enemy of Spiderman. Kraven will
do whatever it takes to bring down the Marvel hero with the intent of killing him.
The movie stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the title
role. He joins a cast that includes Levi Miller, Ariana DeBose, Russell
Crowe, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott and Fred Hechinger.
