Well, it’s official,
German-born American, Javicia Leslie
is the new Batwoman. She replaces actress
Ruby Rose who quit because of a recurring back injury. While Rose played the role of Kate Kane, Leslies will play the role of Ryan Wilder, a "likable, messy"
hero who is also "a little goofy and untamed”, and is further characterized
as "the most dangerous type of fighter: highly skilled and wildly
undisciplined”.
In regards to, and although the graphic of Jim Lee below has been circulating on
the web, there is no concrete information on Ryan Wilder’s Batwoman costume. By
all right, Wilder's costume should be as unique as her alter-ego.
