For decades we and our children and our children’s children grew up with the works of Marvel Comic creator Stan Lee. However, he was not alone in those early days when reading comics were considered entertainment for the less intellectually inclined.

However, Stan Lee had a creative partner by the name of Jack Kirby for a for time. Kirby creative genius went into creating the popular comic characters of captain America Marvel, Ant-Man, the Avengers, the Black Panther, the Fantastic Four, the Hulk, Iron Man, the Silver Surfer, Thor, and at DC Comics he created the characters of Fourth World's New Gods. Some of these characters were Deadman, the Forever People, the Flash and the ever popular, Superman.

Jack Kirby to Draw Superman

Today Dark Horse Comics has announced that it will publish 'The Marvel Comics Covers of Jack Kirby, a series of hardcover volumes that will collect all of Kirby's Marvel covers together with commentary on the art and design aspects of each one. – ICv2
